The plans to re-open passenger services on the Camp Hill railway line are included in Network Rail’s West Midlands Route Plan, accessible at this url: http://www.networkrail.co.uk/aspx/4355.aspx

The plans include the opening of a new “chord” as a pre-requisite to re-establishing a passenger service on the Camp Hill line.  If you follow the link, click “Route 17”, then go to figure 12 on page 10, you can see that the timetable for this is 2010-2014.

We will need to keep the pressure up to try and ensure this is sooner rather that later, and I will be pressing Network Rail to try to ensure their commitment to doing so.
